Kate Bosworth With Boyfriend Michael Polish 2012

Kate Bosworth isn't one to details her personal life to the public, but the nonchalance of how she introduced her proposal to her director boyfriend Michael Polish came as a complete surprise.
The 'Superman Returns' actress was writing a blog for Vogue.com's special Summer Travel Journal function and was explaining her trip to South Korea in May when she reported in a single line with no elaboration: 'On our first day in Seoul, my fiance, Michael Polish, and I project out to locate Changdeokgung Palace.' At first glance, the subtle 'announcement' is not totally clear; it took a few reads before the word 'fiance' stood out at all! The sly star has been relationship 'fiance' Michael for about a year, getting together with him soon after her split with 'True Blood' actor Alexander Skarsgard. Bosworth, 29, was filming for the role as Carrie in the upcoming drama movie 'Big Sur' which Polish (as in one half of directing duo The Polish Brothers), 41, was directing last summer.
Bosworth has also been passionately linked to 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star Orlando Bloom who she old for three years before splitting up with him in 2005. It is not clear how long exactly she and Polish have been affianced since she has been dressed in a gold ring on the correct finger for a while now.

lthough Kate attended the open audition in New York for the Robert Redford film The Horse Whisperer (1998) just in hopes of acquiring the encounter of what it was like to audition for a movie role, she won the role of the female lead's best friend and the possibility to work with director/star Robert Redford. Her previous acting experience had consisted of singing at county fairs in Florida and acting in a group theatre manufacturing of "Annie". However, since landing the movie role, Kate seemed to be in more sound stages than ranches. Terrified that an early career would rob her of her childhood, she took 18 months off to live a normal life before choosing to plunge into acting again. In 2000, she arrived the role of the bratty sister in the feature film The Newcomers (2000) and the part of a football co-captain's girlfriend in the Denzel Washington movie Remember the Titans (2000).
